Easy Potato Poriyal


Potato poriyal is an easy and quick recipe. Made up of cooked and mashes potatos with little spices.

Cuisine : Indian

Preparation time : 5 mins

Cooking time : 20 mins

Course : Side dish

Main Ingredient : Potato

Ingredients :

Mustard and urud dal for seasoning - 1 tbsp

Potato - cooked and mashed 2 cups

Chilli powder - 1 tbsp

Turmeric - 1 tbsp

Red chilli - 1

Curry leaves - few

Oil - 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Preparation :

  • Heat the pan add oil, add mustard, urud dal, red chilli and curry leaves
  • After it is done, add the mashed potato.
  • Then the chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Serve it hot with rice, Flavored rice, chapathi
